Virgin Racing Engineering

Virgin Racing Engineering had been officially registered with the FIA as a Formula E manufacturer since the second season. For three years, the Brits developed their own powertrains - for long stretches in collaboration with DS Automobiles. For the fifth season, Virgin officially relinquished its manufacturer's license to DS and from then on competed as a customer team.
