Team Aguri
Former Formula One driver and team owner Aguri Suzuki registered his Super Aguri racing team for Formula E early on. Even before the first season began, British insurance company Amlin stepped in as title sponsor, allowing the team to compete in its first championship season under the name Amlin Aguri. The Aguri Formula E team was founded in 2013 by four partners: Aguri Suzuki (Chief Executive Officer), Mark Preston (Team Principal), Peter McCool (Technical Director) and Ferry Spijkerman (Commercial Director). In the spring of 2016, the racing team was bought by the Chinese capital company Chinese Media Capital (CMC) and continued to operate as Techeetah. The important positions in the team initially remained unchanged.
