Four of the 16 races of the 2024/25 Formula E season are already behind us - and a lot has already happened. In the current long break until the Miami E-Prix, we analyse the winners and losers of the season so far.

Winners

Nissan, Rowland & Barnard: So far, Nissan is the manufacturer leading all three world championship standings - thanks to Oliver Rowland. The Briton is in brilliant form and has scored all the points for the Japanese manufacturer.

Nissan has probably made the biggest leap forward in the development of the Gen3 Evo car, which is also reflected in the results of the McLaren customer team. Taylor Barnard deserves a special mention here, who is also one of the big winners of the first quarter of the season with his three podiums.

Max Günther: After moving from Maserati MSG to DS Penske, Günther did not need any time to familiarise himself. He was already at the front in Sao Paulo, and he even won in Saudi Arabia, giving his team its first victory since the 2023 Hyderabad E-Prix. What is particularly impressive is that he has kept his strong team-mate Jean-Eric Vergne under control so far.

Mahindra: After some difficult years, Mahindra has regained its position in the midfield. The Indians scored points in each of the four races and already have 52 points to their name - five more than in the whole of last season. If everything comes together, a podium could even be on the cards again this season.

Losers

Jaguar & Envision: World champion last year, currently only 7th in the teams' standings. Despite Mitch Evans' victory at the season opener in Sao Paulo, the "big cat" is weakening. Apparently, the powertrain of the I-Type 7 is not as strong as the developments of the competition. This is also emphasised by the desolate season of their customer team Envision. The 2023 world champion has scored six points so far. Jaguar needs to get back on track as quickly as possible if it wants to defend its title.

Lola Yamaha ABT: After cancelling its powertrain partnership with Mahindra, ABT was certainly looking forward to a fresh start with Lola Yamaha. This has so far proved to be extremely difficult. The new manufacturer Lola has zero points in the teams' standings. It seems to be lacking in every nook and cranny. The two drivers Lucas di Grassi and Zane Maloney also give little reason for hope so far. It will be a difficult year for ABT.

Norman Nato: Although things are actually going extremely well at Nissan, there is one flaw: the team's second driver, Norman Nato, has not yet arrived at Nissan. The Frenchman is in 20th place overall with zero points. Even team principal Tommaso Volpe has already publicly critcised him. If Nato does not improve as quickly as possible, he may even be threatened with a premature cockpit swap - reserve driver Sergio Sette Camara is already lurking...
