Championship standings (drivers & teams)

The race weekend was a disaster for Pascal Wehrlein and Porsche. They lost a lot of points compared to the competition, even though they came home as world championship leaders! However, Nick Cassidy probably had the worst weekend of his Formula E career. In 18th place, he was the last driver not to retire. Yesterday he had more luck in the race and finished ninth, but today his performance matched that of every other session of the weekend. Hopefully he can position himself at the front again in the next race!

Jake Dennis also finished in the points in sixth place, Nico Müller in seventh, Joel Eriksson in eighth, Nyck de Vries in ninth and, indeed, Lucas di Grassi in 10th again! Two points in two races is much more than anyone expected from him and a real breakthrough in his farewell season!

Mitch Evans collects many important points in fourth place and will be just as satisfied. Mortara really made the most of the race. To finish fifth despite the 10-second penalty is nothing short of a miracle!

Antonio Felix da Costa actually makes it onto the podium after his spin! It looked like his race was already over, but with this great performance he can still reward himself and fight back! 3rd place for Felix da Costa!

OLIVER ROWLAND WINS IN MONACO! THE WORLD CHAMPION IS CROWNED THE WINNER! Behind him, Mortara crosses the finish line in second place but is only classified fifth in the end due to the penalty seconds. Felipe Drugovich finishes second! He takes his first podium in Formula E!

Barnard tried to overtake Evans and misjudged - a rookie mistake by the young Brit. He slides into the wall in front of Evans without making contact. The race is open again! It looks like a Rowland win!

There are no extra laps. We still have two laps of full power in Monaco! It's very close at the front between the top four. At the back, De Vries loses his entire wing, but is only in 10th place. Wehrlein also loses his wing now. AND NOW BARNARD IS IN THE WALL! Full chaos in Monaco! Barnard seems to have got the car moving again, but we have full-course yellow again.

Mortara is the weakest in terms of energy, but will receive 10 penalty seconds anyway. Rowland and Drugovich still have the best energy values and will probably decide the victory between themselves! However, Felix da Costa is not letting up either, while Evans is now out of the fight for victory, seven seconds behind the top 4.

Oliver Rowland overtakes Mortara for the lead! Behind him, Drugovich overtakes the Jaguar of Felix da Costa for 3rd place! Evans will now also be pushing to get past Felix da Costa.

Rowland and Mortara overtake Felix da Costa for the lead. There are still five laps to go and Evans and Ticktum still have an attack mode, which they now activate!

Dan Ticktum apparently drove too fast during the full-course yellow phase. He is being investigated and this will most likely result in a penalty for the pole setter!

Oliver Rowland activates six minutes of attack mode. He is now in 3rd place! But still has five seconds on the leader Felix da Costa! That should be possible! Drugovich behind him and Mortara in front of him also activate attack mode.

Vergne is forced to change the front wing. His race is probably over. The race is open again! Felix da Costa leads ahead of Mortara, Drugovich, Ticktum and Rowland!

Felix da Costa has managed to recover from his spin and is now miraculously in the lead! He has worked his way through the field with extra power, but is now unable to utilise all the minutes of extra power due to the full-course yellow phase.

Mortara activates his attack mode and briefly falls behind Ticktum. But the Brit let him through again straight away. The damage to Vergne's front wing is extensive. His wing drags on the wheel, at least until he is able to break it off at a kerb. At the back, Cassidy collides with Marti! Both are in the wall!

Ticktum positions himself in third place, but is then let through by Evans. The Jaguar driver relinquishes the lead to save energy. Mortara now leads again. Now there is another brief yellow and Müller drops back! He collided with Vergne in the final sector and then hit the wall!

Ticktum is also travelling in attack mode. However, he needs the crowbar to get past Dennis. He is now in 4th place behind Drugovich. But the extra power won't last much longer.

Vergne uses his attack mode, but only for the short two minutes. He practically just holds position and is now in 4th place.

Günther and Buemi collide further back. Buemi's Envision rises briefly, but there were no major consequences. Günther receives a 5-second penalty for the accident.

Drugovich finds it very difficult to get past Ticktum and Vergne. Now that he has done so, Mortara and Müller let him through as they fight each other. But he is still two seconds behind Evans.

Jake Dennis and Felipe Drugovich are the next two to work their way forward in attack mode. Time will be tight to take the lead. Dennis probably won't get much further than 4th place, but Drugovich still has two and a half minutes!

Evans has been on fire since announcing he was leaving Jaguar TCS Racing. Yesterday he moved into the championship lead and today he's back on course to score the big points! But now he has to watch his energy. He and Müller are two per cent behind!

Mitch Evans is making his way forwards in attack mode. He is currently in 3rd place, but still has more than enough time to theoretically take the lead. Which he does immediately! Evans leads!

Nico Müller has a slight energy deficit. The rest are travelling at fairly similar percentages without any major outliers.

Ticktum expresses his surprise on the radio. According to him, the pace is such that the drivers are going too fast. He is in third place and is apparently worried that they will run out of energy before the end of the race.

As was to be expected, Taylor Barnard receives a 10-second penalty. He is in 8th place. The gap that Müller just managed has now melted to just under a second.

Nico Müller opens up a gap to Mortara at the front. He is almost two and a half seconds in front. The current top five are Müller, Mortara, Ticktum, Vergne and Rowland!

Nato is pushed off the track - his race is over. Taylor Barnard pushed the Frenchman into the wall on the last corner. His Nissan hit the left rear of the track. The damage forces him to retire. Barnard will receive a penalty.

Nico Müller is the first to activate his attack mode and literally races through the field. He is now third and a little later also first! Nato falls back at the rear and it's yellow for a moment!

Edoardo Mortara receives a 10-second penalty for spinning Felix da Costa! Ticktum overtakes Vergne and is now back in the lead. However, Mortara still remains at the front of the field.

In terms of energy management, Vergne's Citroen in second place is probably the weakest. In the last few races, it was always a big problem for the Frenchman to keep up with the energy levels of the others. At the moment, however, he is being pulled by Mortara's slipstream, even if he leaves a bit of a gap.

The contact was between Mortara and Felix da Costa. Vergne therefore does not have to fear a penalty, but Mortara will hardly be able to avoid it. The Swiss has now taken the lead, still followed by Vergne! Ticktum has dropped to third place to save energy.

ANTONIO FELIX DA COSTA GETS CLEARED! Mortara and Vergne crash into the back of him in the chicane. Both were driving side by side and battling for third position. Felix da Costa delayed more than they expected. The Portuguese is now only 16th!

GREEN FLAG! FULL CURRENT IN MONACO! Dan Ticktum can keep the lead! The start goes off without a big scramble and everyone gets through cleanly. Mitch Evans catches Drugovich for 5th place!

The drivers get ready. It's about to start at any moment...

Both Porsche drivers and yesterday's winner Nyck de Vries had a weak qualifying session and will start outside the top 10. There will be no pit boost today, which will make the race a lot more energy-intensive.

Directly behind them are Edoardo Mortara and Jean-Eric Vergne. Both had a points-less race yesterday. Now they are in a very good position to at least avoid a points-less race weekend. Felipe Drugovich will start behind them alongside Taylor Barnard. The top 10 is completed by Evans, Rowland, Nato and Marti.

Dan Ticktum won pole position for a second time in a row! It was one of the most dominant qualifying sessions in Formula E and second-placed Antonio Felix da Costa didn't stand a chance in the final. The Portuguese driver started from the same row as Ticktum from second place on the grid, but yesterday the two collided and crashed on the final laps. Felix da Costa retired immediately and Ticktum lost his podium place due to a penalty. Neither of them will be giving each other anything today!

Welcome back to the live ticker! The second Formula E Monaco race starts in just under ten minutes!
