Formula E Live Ticker
Here we will be following the Formula E race weekend in Miami from April 11, 2025. You can find out more about the race weekend here:
I bid you farewell! The drivers are now being taken to the podium. In the meantime, we have managed to organise the confusing results. Get an overview! Here we go again in less than a month with the glorious race in Monaco!
Antonio Felix da Costa is interviewed in third place. He says: "I am just angry. I drive the perfect race here and then lose the race because of a red flag."
For Lucas die Grassi, it is the first podium in two years. For Lola Yamaha it is the first podium ever. Alongside Porsche, they are definitely the biggest winners. But even Di Grassi is not bursting with joy after the undignified finish.
Dan Ticktum finished seventh, Robin Frijns eighth, Jake Dennis ninth and Zane Maloney tenth. Rowland and both Jaguars remain without points!
Nico Müller somehow finished fourth after the chaos. Edoardo Mortara finishes fifth and the winner across the finish line, Norman Nato, is sixth.
No one is really happy now. But now the result is official! Pascal Wehrlein wins!
It's not official, but Wehrlein is already posing as the winner on his car.
Pascal Wehrlein wins despite extreme energy deficit! LUCAS DI GRASSI FINISHES SECOND IN THE LOLA! Da Costa finishes third! An incredible result!
A bad end to this race. Norman Nato is certain on the radio that he will not remain the winner.
Nato crosses the finish line first, but will be penalised. The result will be Wehrlein, Di Grassi and Da Costa! As long as no new rules are invented here.
Wehrlein will win! Frijns, Nato and Rowland will not be able to complete their attack mode and will be penalised. LUCAS DI GRASSI COULD FINISH SECOND!
Frijns overtakes Da Costa! Nato overtakes Da Costa! Rowland overtakes Da Costa! Rowland is now fourth!
Pascal Wehrlein can win this! He overtakes Da Costa in attack mode. Although he lacks a bit of energy, Da Costa could make up ground.
Edoardo Mortara immediately overtakes Wehrlein! The drivers line up in attack mode. What a CHAOS!
The race is open after a standing start! Da Costa leads ahead of Wehrlein and Mortara! They are followed by Frijns and Di Grassi.
According to our calculations, there are too few laps for those who still have six minutes of attack mode. They will have to slow down. This also applies to Sam Bird!
Some drivers still have six minutes of attack mode left. This must be completed before the race is over, otherwise there will be a penalty! It's going to be extreme chaos at the activation zone! The drivers start behind the safety car!
The drivers sort themselves into the correct positions.
The restart is at 9 pm!
Lucas di Grassi and Robin Frijns are both in a very good position for a surprising podium. Günther and Evans are allowed to lap back, it's about to go on!
Five penalty seconds for Nick Cassidy! He pushed the track limits one too many times. As a result, he will have gambled away what was actually a good starting position.
Although Pascal Wehrlein can make himself as wide as possible for Da Costa, he will probably be quickly pushed back by the other drivers. He also has to activate his attack mode with a large energy deficit.
In the last four laps, we will at least see full power lap times! So far, there have been none at all. The drivers who can still activate attack mode now have the best chance of victory. Bird, Nato, Cassidy, Rowland or Dennis, for example. Sam Bird is probably in the best position thanks to his particularly large energy reserves.
Curious! Günther will have to apologise to Evans. Both are able to reverse out of the accident. When reversing, however, Günther drives into the front of Evans. The collision between the two was more violent than Mitch Evans' contact in the actual accident.
The biggest loser is Antonio Felix da Costa. He had just activated his six-minute attack mode. In all likelihood, he would have simply driven away from everyone for the remaining five laps.
Hughes is pushed by one of the Envision cars and crashes into the barrier. Maximilian Günther is unable to get out of the way and crashes into it. Mitch Evans only collides slightly with the two. He won't have much damage. Günther also thinks he can continue in the pits!
New safety car! Three cars are stationary! Günther, Hughes and Evans are in each other's path. Günther parks with the front on Hughes' rear. That was a big crash. NOW IT'S RED!
Da Costa, Bird, Cassidy and Dennis have the most energy. Wehrlein, on the other hand, is far behind. He will now do nothing more than help Da Costa.
Oliver Rowland, Mitch Evans and Dennis are far behind! It's going to be very difficult to play a role after all!
The race is open again! Both Porsches are currently leading ahead of Lucas di Grassi! There are still eight laps to go.
Now he gets the car rolling again. The safety car phase is very short.
Now there was a yellow flag! Now even a safety car! Nyck de Vries has stopped!
David Beckmann parks his car! On the radio, he speaks of suspension damage.
Porsche is in first and second place at the front and Da Costa has now been able to activate his attack mode without losing position and is only driving in the slipstream of the world champion.
It gets really tight at the attack activation. Some drivers activated their extra power. Including Pascal Wehrlein, who is currently third. Da Costa is leading!
Sam Bird and Da Costa have almost 3% more energy than the rest! That's significant! The Jaguars and Dennis have also made good savings.
Jean Eric Vergne is completely out of rhythm. First he almost rear-ends a Jaguar, then he collides slightly with Müller after a lateral collision.
Nyck de Vries takes the lead with attack mode! However, he has only activated two of the eight minutes so far.
Sam Bird is praised on the radio for his energy management. The Brit had squeezed past Jake Dennis with a crowbar shortly before and is now eighth.
Jean Eric Vergne drives through the grass for ages and loses many places! The two-time world champion cuts an inside kerb so badly that he has to open the steering and drives straight through the grass.
Sebastien Buemi is the first to activate his attack mode!
Taylor Barnard has lined up at the front again. He is seventh. Behind him is Jake Dennis, who started second. Dennis has now dropped back to ninth place.
Now the energy levels are shown. Oliver Rowland and Mitch Evans have been particularly frugal in the first 7 laps
.
Both Envision are in a good position. As they are the only ones in the top 10 driving as a double pack, there are potentially helpful tactical games.
De Vries relinquishes the lead! Now Norman Nato is leading again
.
Today, 26 laps will be driven in Miami. Each driver is also entitled to two Attack Mode activations. It won't be really decisive for a few laps. At the moment, the main aim is to avoid damaging the car.
Nyck de Vries continues to lead. Both Jaguars and Oliver Rowland are currently holding their positions. They occupy places 14 to 16.
The lap times are over ten seconds slower than in qualifying. Meanwhile, both Envision cars are even in the top 5!
De Vries leads the race! Nato and Da Costa have made way for him. Nobody wants to lead now in order to save energy in the slipstream.
Jake Dennis loses 2nd place to Antonio Felix da Costa! Now also to Nyck de Vries. The Dutchman is already in 3rd place!
GREEN FLAGS! FULL POWER AT MIAMI! Norman Nato claims the lead into the first turn!
The drivers roll into their starting positions. The race is about to start...
We should also keep an eye on Taylor Barnard. The young Brit is brimming with confidence and dominated practice in Homestead.
The drivers are now in their cars and are slowly preparing for the start of the race. The first five are: Norman Nato, Jake Dennis, Antonio Felix da Costa, Robin Frijns and Nyck de Vries. Pascal Wehrlein starts in ninth place.
Jaguar and Oliver Rowland, who is only 16th on the grid, will probably again be helped by the racing dynamics. Energy management here in Miami will be decisive for success. Accordingly, we can expect another 'peloton'race where nobody wants to lead the first 20 laps.
While the national anthem is being played in Miami, let's take a look at the facts. Norman Nato scored his first three points of his career in qualifying. The usually strong Oliver Rowland couldn't even come close to keeping up with the Frenchman today. It was all the more curious in qualifying. Frijns, De Vries, Di Grassi and Beckmann all started in the top ten. The Jaguars were once again poor and only 13th and 14th! Maximilian Günther was even worse off, as he started last
.
Welcome back to the live ticker! Now it's getting really serious. The Miami e-Prix starts in just under 20 minutes! Norman Nato will start from pole position for the first time in his Formula E career!
