After DS Penske and Nissan, the recently rebranded Formula E team Kiro Race Co. - formerly ERT - published its car livery for the upcoming 2024/25 season on Monday. The US team has opted for a striking neon yellow colour with black accents. It remains unclear until the coming weeks who will drive the two Kiro cars.

"We want fans and competitors to know without a doubt who we are when they see our cars on track," Kiro says in the official press release. The rear-running team's new-found self-confidence may be due to the fact that it is now racing with Porsche powertrains - albeit with a configuration from the past two seasons. Following the recent change of ownership and the associated renaming from ERT to Kiro, the team seems to have new hope.

Formula E fans are already familiar with the neon yellow colour, which clearly dominates from both the side and the top, from the previous season. Back then, however, ERT only used it as an accent colour on a black background. Now the electric racing car stands out even more visually. "We set out to create a design that is not only cool but also impossible to miss - whether on the track or in the paddock," says Team Principal Alex Hui.

It's about more than just aesthetics, he explains: "This livery is a bold declaration of our identity as daring upstarts, ready to redefine the rules. We want this design to spark excitement, inspire our fans, and attract partners who share our drive for bold innovation and fearless competition."

Still no announcement of the drivers

Jon Wilde, Commercial Director at Kiro, adds: "Designed to be the most visible car on the Formula E grid, our livery is a powerful tool to connect with our audiences. It is a visual statement that will capture attention, attract like-minded partners, and deepen our connection with fans - all critical to achieving our ambitious targets as a sports franchise."

Who will drive the eye-catching Kiro racing cars remains to be seen: "We will be announcing our driver line up for season 11 in the coming weeks," said the team. There seems to be no question that both drivers will be strong: "With our dedicated team of engineers and mechanics, updated cars, and driver lineup, we’re positioned to leave a lasting mark on the upcoming season and establish ourselves as the dynamic underdogs in Formula E."
