Back to the roots: Porsche Formula E team presents David Beckmann as reserve driver

The Porsche Formula E Team has unveiled its reserve driver for the 2025/26 Formula E World Championship: David Beckmann returns to the works team after a year as a regular driver with Porsche customer team Cupra Kiro to once again take on the reserve role. The German completed his first full season in the electric series with a top 10 result.
This means Beckmann is returning to familiar territory: he has been a reserve driver for Andretti since 2022 and even made his Formula E debut in Jakarta in 2023 as a replacement for regular driver Andre Lotterer, who was unable to compete. At the same time, he was also a reserve driver for the Porsche works team at the start of the Gen3 era in 2023, before the opportunity arose to become a regular driver for Cupra Kiro for the 2024/25 season. However, Beckmann failed to impress here, scoring just one championship point in 16 races. At the end of the season, he lost his cockpit.
Admin also asked about the S12 World Champions. But let's not spoil anything. 😜
