My name is Timo Pape, and I am a German sports journalist. Until 2014, I mainly covered traditional motorsports, including freelance work for Motorsport-Total.com and Formel1.de. In June 2014, I launched the news portal e-Formel.de (later also: e-Formula.news) to provide a platform for the German-speaking Formula E community. In addition to e-Formel.de, I work as a freelancer covering electric racing for various print magazines.

I was born in Göttingen in 1988 and grew up in southern Lower Saxony. In 2009, I moved to Mainz to study journalism. From 2015 to 2017, I completed my communications traineeship at a Bavarian car manufacturer. After several years in Hamburg, I now live in Mainz again.
